For many people, religion must recognize some supernatural element. I will posit that Confucianism proves this wrong.
I am creating Skeptical Deism because my beliefs are so dramatically different from Atheists, Deists, Agnostics, and others that associating with them would require me to either conceal my own beliefs or find a way to maintain contentious relationships.
I am a minority. In fact, I might be a minority of one person. However, I so intensely hold these beliefs I cannot keep them to myself and be content and calm.
Any who reads the primary belief of Skeptical Deism can reasonably understand I have very few options for speaking my own thoughts. I am lucky enough to be in one of the few countries where I can state what is clearly true and not be arrested. Even so, almost all social media will censor my posts.
Other sites such as gab are so filled with trolls as to be functionally worthless. I really don’t want to talk to other people – especially in short little snippets which involve nothing but insults and veiled threats.
If you’re joining me here at the beginning, my thoughts are new and you will likely get offended at some point. My intention is not to offend you but rather to relieve myself of the pain keeping silent is causes.
