People should examine truly foreign cultures.
The Mexicans had a culture where they thought killing humans was awful. They believed that killing someone was so horrible, they went into battle without weapons so as to not kill their enemies. They would select captives to take back with them. The captives would be paired with a Mexican to live with for a year. The captive would do the same thing the Mexican would. At the end of a year, the Mexicans would cut his heart out and then chopped his head off. Afterwards, they would eat him.
The Mexicans considered this to be good.
I present this to point out that good and evil is completely arbitrary. People choose what is good or evil based on what’s in their best interests. And virtue signaling is not new. Even those who believe the Bible will arbitrarily decide good and evil.
Christians will happily cheer on the murder of toddlers as long as the murder supports their interests. Just look at Palestine.
The idea of good and evil is a scam to dupe other people to do what is wanted.
